CHAPTER I
INTRODUCTION
Computer nowadays is a basic need for business on companies. It helps a lot in such a way that it makes work more progressive and productive. It is an important thing that company or small business should have because it helps a lot in many ways such as organizing, storing and manipulating data. Having computer programs may help a company grow bigger and be competitive in the flow of the business world. It helps a lot because almost all the companies nowadays use computers literate and very competitive in many aspects. Most of this day, people are using mobiles or smart phones. The usefulness of mobile devices has increased greatly in recent years allowing users to perform more tasks in a mobile context. This increase in usefulness has come at the expense of the usability of these devices in some contexts.
Academic Institutions value the quality of the teaching. The institution encourage faculty to understand what is effective teaching, to use those approaches which work, to develop new approaches of teaching, to use innovative develop and learning methodology and to implement leading edge technology in the classroom where appropriate.
Student evaluation of teaching helps us to identify and to support effective teaching and provide the state college community with information about student perception of the quality of instruction at the school.
PROJECT CONTEXT
The Research and Development Office used to have a process of manual evaluation system. The research coordinators manage/conduct the manual system and the other staffs of research and development office are the one who compute the results of evaluation. During the process, it takes time to do all paper works and get the validity of results. There are also some instances that some documents are being misplaced and lack of security.
The Mobile Evaluation for Teachers with Android Support will improve the current system of the organization. The documents will be encrypted and users can gain knowledge using android phones. The works will be lessening because of the new system that we proposed.
PURPOSE AND DESCRIPTION
The purpose of the study is to develop, evaluate and implement the proposed system that will help the organization in providing a system thru developing Mobile Evaluation for Teachers with Android Support. Mobile Evaluation for Teachers with Android Support presents a new aspect of developing the study including on the different criteria of evaluating teachers. Through android phones it can make the school effective and efficient in terms of technology.
OBJECTIVES
GENERAL OBJECTIVES
The main objective of this study is to create an evaluation system for teachers with Android Support that can be used in any school.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
The aim of the study is to design and develop A Mobile Evaluation for Teachers with Android Support to:
- Have everything in one central location and never lose a document again.
- To save time by eliminating all paperwork.
- Can access using Android Phones.
- To get the results directly.
SCOPE AND LIMITATION
This study focused only in the performance of teachers evaluated by the students, co-teachers, and supervisors. All users in different courses can access this system as long as they are enrolled. The restriction of this study is, users who are not registered in database are not allowed to evaluate. And also they cannot access to this system without Internet Connection.
SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY

Evaluation can, and should, however, be used as an ongoing management and learning tool to improve an organization’s effectiveness. Well-run organizations and effective programs are those that can demonstrate the achievement of results. Results are derived from good management. Good management is based on good decision making. Good decision making depends on good information. Good information requires good data and careful analysis of the data. These are all critical elements of evaluation.
USERS: By rating the teachers leads to a good quality of teaching.
THE RESEARCHERS: Allows the researchers to have opportunity of constructing a Mobile Evaluation for teachers with Android Support for any school. It helps the researcher enhance their skills through Android, java programming and hardware design.
