Virtual Online Tour offers a more realistic experience than video tours. The application will allow clients to feel as if they are in the actual location for a tour. The Virtual Online Tour application is a good alternative for businesses that requires tour. The researchers will develop the project following the Software development Life Cycle (SDLC) technique for the completion of the system. The target users of the system are businesses that require client tours for their business operations like the tourist industry, showrooms, stores, and others.
Introduction of the Study
The usage of technology is an advantage in the business industry, especially during this challenging pandemic. It allows businesses to continue to operate beyond physicality. The capstone project entitled “Virtual Online Tour Application” is designed as a platform to streamline virtual tours for clients. Any business industry can use the system to accommodate and provide their clients with a virtual experience of their business. For example, the tourist industry and real estate agencies can use the system to provide a virtual tour to their clients about the tourist locations and designs of properties, respectively.
The COVID-19 pandemic has increased the need for an innovative platform that can be used to provide a realistic tour experience to customers. Before the pandemic, most tours are done face-to-face, wherein clients are present in the actual location for a tour experience. Some businesses like the tourist industry, real estate agencies, showrooms, and the store would need to let their clients visit their vicinity to tour for an experience before they purchased something. They need to provide their clients with a first-hand experience of what services and products they offer. However, the COVID-19 pandemic has impeded these capabilities, and let them think of an innovative way to let their clients enjoy their business services and products even at the comfort of their home.
Proposed Solution
As a response to the aforementioned concerns, the researchers of the study proposed the development of the Virtual Online Tour Application. The said project is a platform that can be used by businesses to provide a virtual yet realistic tour to their clients. The online platform will be managed by the system administrator that is responsible for the management of the details of the virtual tours. The system’s target end-users would only need to register in the system to participate in the virtual tour. The proposed project is efficient and convenient to use. It will allow businesses to continue to operate despite the limits brought by the pandemic. It will help companies save time and cost and at the same time deliver efficient and realistic tours to their clients.
Objectives of the Study
General Objective-the main goal of the project is to design, develop and implement a Virtual Online Tour that is way more realistic than a video tour only.
Specifically, the researchers aim the following objectives:
- To enhance the experience of the clients who are participating in the tour.
- To allow businesses to continue to provide tours to their clients even beyond physicality.
- To let clients feel as if they are in the exact location during the virtual tour.
- To increase business operational efficiency as well as the overall customer experience.
- To subject the output of the project to an evaluation in terms of user acceptability, efficiency, quality, productivity, and reliability.
Scope of the Study
This study concentrates on the development and implementation of the Virtual Online Tour Application. The system is limited to allowing client users to join tours and provide comments or feedback. The system is capable of having sounds, images, and videos. The researchers will gather a sample size of participating companies and clients to participate as respondents of the study.

Conclusion
The study was conducted to assess the business industry that offers tours to its clients. The study reveals that various business industry was challenged in providing tour services to their clients due to the pandemic. Thus, the researchers developed a Virtual Online Tour Application and presented it to the target end-users. The result of the study showed that the developed system was rated by the respondents satisfactorily in terms of user acceptability, efficiency, quality, productivity, and reliability. The said system met the needs and requirements of the respondents and target end-users.
Therefore, the researchers concluded that the developed system is highly ideal to provide a virtual tour to clients with a realistic experience. It will allow clients to participate and enjoy tours in the comfort of their own homes.
Recommendations
Based on the positive result of the study, the researchers highly recommend the implementation of the system. The researchers recommend the system for its efficiency and dependability. The researchers also highlight the importance of having enough knowledge about the system to properly use it.
