IPO Model Conceptual Framework of Virtual Online Tour Application
This post will show you how to construct a conceptual framework for a Virtual Online Tour Application.
About the Project
The usage of technology is an advantage in the business industry, especially during this challenging pandemic. It allows businesses to continue to operate beyond physicality. The capstone project entitled “Virtual Online Tour Application” is designed as a platform to streamline virtual tours for clients. Any business industry can use the system to accommodate and provide their clients with a virtual experience of their business. For example, the tourist industry and real estate agencies can use the system to provide a virtual tour to their clients about the tourist locations and designs of properties, respectively.
The COVID-19 pandemic has increased the need for an innovative platform that can be used to provide a realistic tour experience to customers. Before the pandemic, most tours are done face-to-face, wherein clients are present in the actual location for a tour experience. Some businesses like the tourist industry, real estate agencies, showrooms, and the store would need to let their clients visit their vicinity to tour for an experience before they purchased something. They need to provide their clients with a first-hand experience of what services and products they offer. However, the COVID-19 pandemic has impeded these capabilities, and let them think of an innovative way to let their clients enjoy their business services and products even at the comfort of their home.
Objectives of the Study
- To enhance the experience of the clients who are participating in the tour.
- To allow businesses to continue to provide tours to their clients even beyond physicality.
- To let clients feel as if they are in the exact location during the virtual tour.
- To increase business operational efficiency as well as the overall customer experience.
Conceptual Framework/Model
The conceptual framework for the project Virtual Online Tour Application is depicted in the figure below. It is based on the input, process, and output model, or IPO model.
Input
The project will begin with an evaluation of the current process, which will lead to the stage of establishing the needs of the users, also known as the user requirement stage. In addition, the researchers will need to compile relevant articles and systems to serve as a guide for the project’s progress.
- The first stage in the data collection process is to determine who the virtual tour application’s target audience is. Market research or surveys can be used to accomplish this.
- Determine the content that will be included in the virtual tour in the second phase. Interviews with business owners, site visits, and other research can all be used to accomplish this.
- The virtual tour template is created in the third phase. This will include details such as the tour’s timeline, venues, and segment descriptions.
- Gathering photographs and videos for use in the virtual tour application is the fourth phase. This can be accomplished by using online photo galleries or video hosting services.
Process
In this phase, the researchers will select and choose the best software development life cycle model for the project.
The process includes analysis and rapid design, prototyping, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
The Virtual Online Tour Application is currently in the development phase. This phase will entail the development of software that will allow users to take virtual tours of destinations through the internet. Users will be able to use the app to navigate through an area using a map, as well as view 360-degree photos of the location. Tourists and companies alike will be able to use the app, which will allow them to explore sites in a variety of ways.
We’re working on a user-friendly interface for the Virtual Online Tour Application’s development phase that will allow users to move through the location using a map. We’re also working on ways to show 360-degree photographs of the site in a variety of formats. We’re also developing software that will allow people to take virtual tours of places in a variety of ways.
The Virtual Web Tour Application is currently in development, and we plan to release it as a free online application later this year. Please visit the page below if you have any questions or recommendations concerning the project.
Output
After all of the relevant procedures have been completed, the project comes to life and is carried out in the actual world. A new project is born, and it will be maintained for the long-term existence of the project.
The purpose of a conceptual framework is to provide a clear and concise overview of a body of knowledge.
A conceptual framework can be used to:
- define a body of knowledge
- explain the relationships between concepts
- provide a structure for organizing information
- illustrate the hierarchy of concepts
- assist in the retrieval of information
A conceptual framework can be used in a variety of ways. For example, a teacher might use a conceptual framework to help students understand the concepts in a subject matter area. A businessperson might use a conceptual framework to organize and understand the different aspects of their business. And, a scientist might use a conceptual framework to organize and understand the different concepts in her field.
There are a variety of conceptual frameworks available, and it is important to choose one that best suits the purposes that you will use it for. Some common conceptual frameworks include the taxonomy framework, the model-building framework, and the knowledge representation framework.
Summary
This article described the development of the conceptual framework for the investigation. The input, process, and output model was used by the researchers to provide the conceptual framework for the study (IPO model). The researchers will begin the project by determining the problem and the system’s user requirements. In order to support the project, the researchers will look for relevant literature. After acquiring all of the project’s necessary inputs, the researchers will begin the project’s development procedure. The researchers will select an SDLC model that is appropriate for the project. Once all of the relevant steps have been completed, the project will be brought to life and implemented in the real world. A new project is born, and it will be maintained for the project’s long-term sustainability.
