Abstract of Mobile Loan Management Application with Admin Panel
The capstone project entitled “Mobile Loan Management Application with Admin Panel” is a web and mobile based information system for Cooperative. The objective of this study was to design and develop a system that allows the members of the cooperative to apply loan using their mobile devices and allow the management to process it online via the admin panel of the system. Development of the said project was done in two part, the mobile application where the users and members of the cooperative can apply for a loan, ask for inquiries, view and receive updates on the balance. The admin panel is where the staff and management of the cooperative can view, manage and approve the loan application by their members. In addition the mobile application has also a feature wherein users can view and receive updates on the balance and payment history. Furthermore, a text message or SMS was also integrated in the project to notify the members about their payment in order to avoid penalties. PHP, MySQL and Bootstrap were used for the admin panel whereas Java and Android Studio was used to develop the mobile application. The project is only limited to android users since development of the mobile application for IOS users uses different programming language. The output of the project was tested and evaluated the end users, the staff and management tested the admin panel and for the mobile application it was tested and evaluated by the selected members of the cooperative. Result showed that the project has a potential impact on the processing of loans. Mobile Loan Management Application with Admin Panel is a paperless system in terms of processing of loans, provides convenience on both parties and it can greatly improve the response time. With the benefits presented and the evaluation results, the cooperative management may consider implementing the system for it can give their members a quality service.
