Abstract of Faculty Evaluation System
The capstone project entitled “Faculty Evaluation System” was conducted to assess the current status of evaluation process which is done by using the pen and paper method, this study is also intended to make necessary improvements by providing a database system. The output of the study will be beneficial to the students, faculty, and the team who conducts and processes the evaluation system. Faculty Evaluation System (FES) is an online platform wherein the students can rate the performance of their teachers based on a given set evaluation criteria and questions in an anonymously manner. Furthermore the teachers can also view their scores/rating and comments of their students. Reports generation of the system will be efficient and this will reduce the paper works of the management. Modified Waterfall Model was used as the software development life cycle or SDLC, since it is an online platform, the researchers used PHP, MySQL and Bootstrap for the development of the system. The system was evaluated and tested by the respondents of the study, results showed that the system is effective and efficient thus recommends for the implementation/maintaining the project in the long run.
