WordPress: Managing Themes
Themes are also called Templates of layout of your site. It gives your site the look, style and design. WordPress allows you to change the style of your site without knowing how to code in HTML and CSS. In this lesson we are going to learn how to manage themes in WordPress.
Manage Themes:
1. Login to your WordPress site using the administrator account.
2. Click Themes in the Apperance tab in your dashboard to go to the Themes administration form.
3. You’ll see the list of available themes. Select Activate link that corresponds to the theme you want to use, Preview link to preview the theme, Delete link to delete the theme.
4. Preview your site.
Upload Themes:
1. Login to your WordPress site using the administrator account.
2. Click Themes in the Apperance tab in your dashboard to go to the Themes administration form.
3. Click the Install Themes tab.
4. Click upload link.
5. Browse the downloaded theme in your local computer and click Install now button.
6. You have successfully uploaded a new theme to your site.
